How To Install Windows7, Xp Or Any OS From USB Stick

Installing Windows 7 From a USB flash drive - What you need:
The Windows 7 ISO weighs a hefty 2.5GB of disk space, so a flash drive with at least 4GB of space is required. Also, you need the following programs: BootSect, USB_prep8, and PeToUSB.(google for the apps)

When you have everything ready, insert your flash drive, plug in your notebook/laptop/netbook or whatever you call it to AC power and get ready to create a Windows 7 bootable USB flash drive.
Installing Windows 7 with a USB flash drive - Preparation
1. Download the packed RAR file which I gave you the link to earlier and extract its contents to your computer’s Desktop (this makes things easier). This contains the three programs you will need to make a bootable USB flash drive, which are BootSect, USB_prep8, and PeToUSB.
Now that the bootsect and USB_prep8 folders are on your Desktop, do the following.

2. Open the USB_prep8 folder, find USB_prep8.cmd and run it, pressing any key to continue when prompted. This will initiate PeToUSB. PeToUSB will be used to format your flash drive, so it is suggested that you back up any valuable data that you might have on your flash drive before proceeding. Once the backup’s done or you are sure it’s OK for you to format your flash drive, see the PeToUSB options and make sure that “Enable Disk Format”, “Quick Format” and “Enable LBA (FAT16X)” are checked. See photo below.

After you click start and agree to what comes next, your USB flash drive will be formatted, and the next step would be to configure it so that it becomes bootable. Close PeToUSB and the small command prompt window that you opened earlier.
3. Make your USB flash drive bootable using bootsect. Here’s how.
Assuming that the bootsect folder you extracted earlier is already on your desktop, simply do the following. Open a command prompt window by pressing the Windows key + R (or going to Start > Run > typing “cmd” without the quotation marks and hitting Enter).
At the command prompt, type the following word for word:
Here’s a photo of what it should look like:

And if all goes well, you should be able to read the following message: “Bootcode was successfully updated on all volumes”. This means you now have a bootable USB flash drive. Congratulations!
5. Copy the Windows 7 install files to your bootable USB flash drive. Perhaps the easiest step in all of this minor hackery, is this. Find your Windows 7 beta ISO file, extract its contents using WinRAR, and copy the resulting files (all of them) into your empty and newly configured to boot USB flash drive. Once that’s done, safely remove it, and use it to boot any computer to install Windows 7 on it. It’s that simple.
Installing Windows 7 with a USB flash drive - What now?

Thats it.

Making $$ and Freebies thanks to Trial Offers

Yes, you see them everywhere! Try this free. Free 7 days to try this product. 1 Month Free!

And, most of you skip over these without a second glance. Who wants to be bothered with trying a product you probably won't like and what if you forget about it? All of a sudden, you are being charged fees!

But, I am here to tell you, they are totally worth the tiny bit of time they take and it is NOT hard to manage these!

What are some of the key steps?
The first key to trial offers is to understand the terms. Reading the first page of a trial offer does not always tell the full story. You MUST read the terms/conditions and copy them to your computer. You want to always have these on hand.Next, you want to know how to end your trial once you sign up, in case you don't end up liking the product. Because, when you sign up for a trial, you are almost always guaranteed to be charged later if you don't discontinue your relationship with the company within your trial period. So, this means you need to find the phone number, email address or terms on their web before you finalize the trial. Now it is time to sign up! The process is usually quick and harmless. I always recommend using a credit card ( I do not recommend debit cards ). Finally, you need to IMMEDIATELY log in your email calendar, your planner and your cell phone calendar the trial end date. I usually mark it for a few days before. This way, if you end up not being available on the actual day, you have a little extra time. By doing this, you now get an email, a cell phone tune and you can visually see your trial end date.

Now, all you have to do is wait for your trial products to arrive and give the product, club, etc a try. You may be surprised and enjoy a company! So, do evaluate them. I have found may clubs I ended up enjoying and keeping.

Want to keep a product?

Still call before your trial is over to speak to a representative. Why? I always let the customers service department know I am thinking about ending my trial and want to know what steps I need to take to end my relationship.

Why do I do this? Because they will then usually offer me a better price, extra freebies or extend my trial for a bit. This then gives me even extra benefits and more time to evaluate and see if my family will use and benfit from the program. It is always worth a call to any provider to check and see if you can get a lower cost, extended trial, etc.

Want to take advantage of some good trial offers? Click on any of the images or links in my right and left side bars to find some great deals!

Adsense Secrets: Getting More Clicks on Your Ads

More CTR (Click Thru Ratio) means more clicks on your Google Ads. But, is CTR all about position and colors of your ads? No! It's a lot more than that. CTR also depends upon the quality of traffic, relevancy of ads, and even the subject of your website. Let's get in detail:Do you own a High CTR website?Yes! CTR varies from Industry to industry too. It depends upon the keywords you are using to make your web page. It has been observed that more technical the topic is (but not necessarily) less CTR it will give you (for example Search Engine Optimization, Affiliate Network - exceptions are always there), but still works if the Ad content is well written.

However, this is only one condition; there are many undiscovered conditions that affect the CTR of keywords. At times, a particular season also has an effect on the performance of keywords. For example family of 'Turkey recipe' keyword is more active around November and December only and a quite sluggish rest of the year. It becomes really necessary to study the behavior of keywords before starting a massive website of Adsense around a topic. Your Ad Position and Color: Old, but very effectiveGoogle heat map helps improve the CTR (Clicks Thru Ratio) of your website by suggesting you the most converting areas for your Adsense Ads. You can have a glance at the Google's Survey that illustrates the ideal placements of ads on your web page.

How to Avoid Having Your AdSense Accout Banned for Click Fraud

f you trawl through the AdSense message boards you can’t help but come across tales of woe from AdSense publishers that have had their account banned by Google.
Below is a list of ways people have been banned from AdSense and information on how to avoid it happening to you.

Don’t click on your own ads
The obvious one but still people do it. Google has the IP address of the computer/s that you’ve used to create and check your AdSense account. If it sees that this IP address clicks one of your ads you’re in trouble.
Don’t do it. It’s theft. Not from Google but from the AdWords advertisers.
If you want to go to a site advertised by one of your ads don’t click on it look at the URL of the advertising site at the bottom of the ad and type it into your browser.
If you click on one accidentally (which does happen) you’re probably be ok but it’s worth dropping a quick email to Google with an explanation and apology
Don’t log in to AdSense from a shared computer.
As I said above Google keeps a record of every machine IP address used to look at your account. If you check your stats on a machine then someone else clicks on your ads from the same machine Google sees this as click fraud. Worth bearing in mind when thinking of checking your stats from somewhere like an Internet Café.
Don’t log in to your AdSense account from work.
Apart from getting in trouble with the company that employs you there’s also a further real risk. Most companies use a proxy server to access the Internet. A proxy server with ONE IP ADDRESS. Therefore you checking your ads from work means this proxy IP address being recorded by Google as one that you use. Problem is if there are 1000 people in your company it is the same IP address for them too. Google can’t differentiate between you and the other 999 employees in your company. If one of these 999 clicks on one of your ads it’s ban time.
Don’t get into a ‘I’ll click your ads if you click mine’ agreement with another Webmaster.
As above Google will have your IP address and that of every AdSense publisher. If they see these IP addresses consistently clicking on each other ads it’s goodbye for both of you.
Don’t tell friends and family.
Telling friends and family about your money making websites can lead to problems. Even if you tell them not to click on your ads there’s always the chance that Auntie Maud will think it’s a good idea to make some extra money for her favourite nephew. 100 clicks later from the same visitor and your account is screaming ‘Click Fraud’.
Receiving clicks from illegal traffic
Check the AdSense TOS for sources of traffic that aren’t allowed by Google. These include methods like Traffic exchange, PTC advertising, Auto surf etc.
Do monitor your visitor and AdSense figures
Check your account at least once a day. If you see a massive spike coupled with a massive increase in Page CTR investigate using your visitor stats website. If you see it’s all come from the same IP address you could have been the victim of a malicious attack – inform Google via email and offer them access to your logs.

Installing and configuring a Wireless Router

A wireless router affords laptop or portable computer users greater mobility in their homes and businesses. In most home networks, wireless routers are connected to a cable or DSL modem, and the router sends the signals and information that make up an Internet protocol (IP) thread to the user's computer via radio signals rather than wires.

To communicate with the wireless router, individual computers house transceivers such as an internal expansion card, a peripheral docked by USB or, in the case of laptops, a PC card or hard-wired internal device. For those accessing the Internet through a high-speed connection, a wireless router can also serve as a hardware firewall (as opposed to a software program), enabling protection from undesirable outside computers without exhausting as many system resources as traditional firewall programs.

Installing a Wireless Router First, turn off the PC and modem, then remove the Ethernet cable from the PC and plug it into the router's WAN port. Install a second Ethernet cable between the PC's Ethernet port and one of the router's Ethernet ports. Power the modem, router and then PC, waiting for the system to boot and initialize before attempting an Internet connection.
Most routers are programmed with the manufacturer's default settings, including the network's name or service set identifier (SSID), channel and sign-on password. These default settings generally may be changed using included software or an online setup utility provided by the router's manufacturer.
Configure the router by entering the router configuration IP address at the URL provided, followed by the configuration utility ID and the default password. To find your router's default IP address and the default login info, refer to the owner's manual. If you own a Linksys router, a popular brand, the IP address is usually 192.168.1.1. Two other popular brands, D-Link and Netgear, generally use 192.168.0.1.
Connecting a Printer to a Wireless Router First, check the documentation that came with your printer to determine how it's designed to connect to computers. Connections made through Ethernet, USB and (obsolescent) parallel ports are common, but newer printers are sometimes wireless-enabled and allow you to simply add them to your wireless network.
Refer to the owner's manual for your particular wireless router. Inside, find the default IP address and the default login info. If you own a Linksys router, the IP address is usually 192.168.1.1. Other popular brands D-Link and Netgear generally use 192.168.0.1.
Connecting Two Wireless Routers Bridging two wireless routers involves configuring both networks manually. Visit each network location - which should be recognized by your computer automatically - and configure the appropriate Service Set Identifier (SSID), Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) or WiFi Protected Access (WPA) key and authentication information. Make sure you know the SSID and WEP or WPA key ahead of time.
Connecting an Xbox 360 to a Wireless Router

Connecting an Xbox 360 to a wireless router allows you to use Xbox Live without physically connecting your Xbox to a cable. Power up your Xbox system and the router, then plug the wireless networking adapter into the two slots at the Xbox's rear. Unplug any existing Ethernet cables and connect the USB connector to the port adjacent to the adapter. Use the system area of the Xbox dashboard to adjust your network settings. This should connect you to the wireless network.

Top 10 Free Ways To Download Any Video Of The Internet

I was searching around for the youtube downloader, i found this interesting post which i wanted to share with you guys. Everyone these days is downloading, watching, and sharing videos from video-sharing sites like YouTube, Google Video, MetaCafe, DailyMotion, Veoh, Break, and a ton of other similar sites. Whether you want to watch the video on your iPod while working out, insert it into a PowerPoint presentation to add some spice, or simply download a video before it’s removed, it’s quite essential to know how to download, convert, and play these videos.
Free Web services for downloading videos from video-sharing sites

ClipNabber allows you to download videos from YouTube, Metacafe, etc by simply copying and pasting the URL. You’ll then get a link whereby you can download the file to your computer, iPod, iPhone, or any other media player. You’ll need to have an FLV player for the YouTube videos. Quick and very easy to use!

Zamzar is a free online file conversion web application that can not only convert videos off the Internet to AVI, MPEG, 3GP, MP4, MOV, etc, but also converts between audio, image, and document formats. Paste the URL into Step 1 and then convert the file to your favorite format.

Vixy.net is another site that not only downloads online videos, but will also convert them AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, or MP3 (if you want to extract the audio from the file). Using this site, you don’t have to worry about downloading a FLV player as you can convert it to Windows format. (Same as Zamzar)
KeepVid also supports just about any video sharing site out there and the only difference about this site is that it also has a Top Videos section, so you can quickly download the most watched videos around the web.

Media Converter is similar to ZamZar and vixy.net, but requires you to create an account and log in. Also, it seems like it only supports downloading and converting videos from YouTube. You can also download their video download program, but it only supports 5 sites.
Hey! Watch is an online video encoding web service that encodes video into different formats including HD very quickly. The graphical interface is very nice and there are lots of features and options, such as the ability to transfer any video from the web directly to an FTP server or to online storage.

YoutubeX, as the name suggests, allows you to download videos from YouTube. Obviously, it only supports YouTube, but it has a couple of other features, such as the ability to play your video on the site and find popular videos quickly.

VideoRonk searches across multiple video-sharing sites such as Google Video, YouTube, MetaCafe and DailyMotion to find the most popular videos on each of them. You can either watch them on VideoRonk or download them to your computer in FLV format.
According to their web site, they support more than 98 video sites including MySpace, CollegeHumor, iFilm>, etc. You’ll have to rename the files you download from YouTube with the .FLV extension at the end.
